Confluence for Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT & agents
Confluence Cloud — search pages with CQL, read page content, create new pages in a space, and update existing pages
curl -fsSL https://syncorelabs.ai/install.sh | shmacOS / Linux. Windows + manual install.
What it does
Confluence Cloud — search pages with CQL, read page content, create new pages in a space, and update existing pages. Use when the user mentions Confluence, Atlassian wiki, internal docs, knowledge base, runbook, RFC, or wants to find / read / write team documentation. Supports CQL filters, space_key, storage-format XHTML, and optimistic version locking.
The Confluence skill is one of 75+ pre-wired Syncore integrations that any MCP-compatible client — Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex CLI, and ChatGPT desktop — can call out of the box. You don't configure MCP servers or copy API keys into a JSON file; the Syncore daemon discovers the skill at startup and exposes its tools to whichever AI client is running.
Sample prompts
Once Syncore is installed and Confluence is connected, ask your agent something like:
- “Search for pages from Confluence.”
- “Get page from Confluence.”
- “Create page from Confluence.”
Tools available (4)
confluence__search_pagesSearch / find / look up Confluence pages using CQL (Confluence Query Language). Use when the user wants to locate documentation, runbooks, RFCs, or any wiki content by keyword, label, author, or space. Optional space_key restricts results to one space.
confluence__get_pageRead / fetch / open a Confluence page by ID with full storage-format HTML body and version metadata. Use when the user wants to read the contents of a specific doc / runbook / RFC.
confluence__create_pageCreate / publish a new Confluence page in a given space_key with storage-format (XHTML) body. Use when the user wants to write up docs, draft an RFC, or post a new wiki entry.
confluence__update_pageUpdate / edit / revise the title and body of an existing Confluence page. Use when the user wants to amend docs, fix a runbook, or push a new revision. version_number must equal current+1 for optimistic locking.
