curl -fsSL https://syncorelabs.ai/install.sh | shmacOS / Linux. Windows + manual install.
What it does
Datadog — query metric timeseries and log events with Datadog query syntax, list and inspect monitors with their state and thresholds, browse custom dashboards, list incidents (active / stable / resolved), list synthetic browser / API / mobile tests, and read the Events stream (alerts / deploys / posts). Use when the user mentions Datadog, APM, metrics, logs, monitor, dashboard, on-call alert, p99 latency, error rate, SRE triage, or wants to debug / report on production observability. Supports US1/US3/US5/EU1 regions.
The Datadog skill is one of 75+ pre-wired Syncore integrations that any MCP-compatible client — Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex CLI, and ChatGPT desktop — can call out of the box. You don't configure MCP servers or copy API keys into a JSON file; the Syncore daemon discovers the skill at startup and exposes its tools to whichever AI client is running.
Sample prompts
Once Syncore is installed and Datadog is connected, ask your agent something like:
- “Query Metrics metrics from Datadog.”
- “Query Logs logs from Datadog.”
- “List monitors from Datadog.”
Tools available (10)
datadog__query_metricsQuery a metric timeseries. `query` follows Datadog syntax (e.g. `avg:system.cpu.user{*}` or `sum:trace.servlet.request{service:web-app}.as_count()`).
datadog__query_logsSearch Datadog logs. Returns up to `limit` events with attributes.
datadog__list_monitorsList monitors with optional name / tag / state filters.
datadog__get_monitorFetch one monitor by id with state + thresholds.
datadog__list_dashboardsList your custom dashboards (id, title, type).
datadog__get_dashboardFetch dashboard JSON (widgets + queries).
datadog__list_incidentsList Datadog Incidents (real incidents, not monitor alerts).
datadog__list_synthetics_testsList synthetic browser + API tests.
datadog__list_eventsQuery the Datadog Events stream (alerts, deploys, manual posts).
datadog__get_accountwhoami — useful for verifying api_key + app_key are valid before more expensive calls.
